A Happy Birthday to my lovely Upline!

Hello again, this is a scheduled post as I'm hoping I'm enjoying hubby's surprise! Today is our wedding anniversary but also my upline Caroline's birthday. Now I'm going against all rules here and uploading her birthday card before I give it to her, but I just want her to see/get it virtually! Here it is, I thought I would use something that she hasn't got - Build a Blossom - Stamp Set and Punch.

I hope she likes it. The colours used here were Pink Pirouette and Pumpkin Pie. I also used the Big Shot Polka Dot Embossing Folder for the large petals, which creates a different effect to stampin'.
Hope to post another soon,

Our First Anniversary...

Hi everyone,
What a busy week! It seemed to drag a little, maybe it's because it is our first full week at work! Anyway, this weekend my hubby and I are celebrating Our First Wedding Anniversary. Can't believe it's been a year already! Well I came home from work a little earlier today to make a card for him! This is what I came up with, I used odd bits of scrap, very little stamping - just punching! So here it is:

He absolutely loved it, so I am very pleased, as usually when I ask him what he thinks, he always says the same thing!! Anyway, he has a surprise in store for us! Wonder what that is...I will let you know when I find out!
Another post tomorrow,

Card Making....home and away!

Hello everyone, I've been away for the weekend to a family wedding in Malta. It was a lovely wedding and it was wonderful to catch up with so many people that I had not seen in over 15 years.
I also was able to catch up with my best friend, Ramona. She's heard so much about my Stampin' Up! and card making, so I took a few bits over and we had a little bit of a play.

We used the pretty Baby Blossom Stamp Set, with Melon Mamba and Certainly Celery Card Stock, with Pink Pirouette, Rose Red and Wild Wasabi Ink. I took the spots with me, which were really small and handy. It was Mother's Day there on Sunday, so th card Ramona made was going to be for her mum. I was really impressed with her creation and I think she was quite surprised at her creativity too.
Another post and photos will be here soon.

A Wedding Card Class

Hi everyone,
Another card class yesterday, which we all enjoyed. We made an elegant black and white wedding card with a box for it, and a thank you card, that can be used as an acceptance card.

This is what we made, these were done by Mandy, who was a newbie, converted to crafting by Lynda and Ashley. So great to have you join us, these are wonderful.

Here is us all busy, using the Big Shot, we used 3 Big Shot Embossing Folders: Elegant Bouquet, Polka Dots and Vintage Wallpaper. We also used the Top Note die for the front of the card. The Stamp Sets used were a retired one, Mr & Mrs and the Wedding Sweet (in the current catalogue).

There are 2 places left, so if you or a friend would like to join us on the next one, which will be on the 7th of June, where we will be making a Father's Day Card and a male birthday card. Email me to book your place  head-over-heels-by-dlm@hotmail.com
Thanks for popping by,

Because I care...

Hello everyone, this has been scheduled, so hopefully it should work as I am at work. Well this is one of my favourite sets, 'Because I care...' which is a hostess set, so if you like this set, contact me and book a workshop. I can come to your house, where you and your family/friends will enjoy a few hours of crafting as I will provide a couple of projects and I can demonstrate a useful technique or how to use the Big Shot! If you would like to do this, please email me at head-over-heels-by-dlm@hotmail.com

This lovely card is for someone who comes to my card class and has had an operation, so I am going to take it to the class tonight so everyone can sign it and I will send it to her, just to let her know that we all wish her well!

Colours used were Wild Wasabi, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White. The Stamp set is called Because I care, in the stamp set you will also get one hydrangea flower, which I stamped and cut and stuck with a dimensional, not sure if you can see it popping out? I also stuck a tiny pearl on it. Love how this has turned out, does anyone notice the Top Note Die as the background?! Good old Mr Big Shot!
 I'm sure she'll love this,
Until next time thank you for visiting,

I'm back...

Hello everyone, Apologies for hibernating for over a week. I was very busy with a bit of redecorating and turning our bedroom into 2 rooms, so now I have my very own Craft/Study Room :)
So last night I was able to spend a very relaxing evening in their listening to my very own 'craft playlist' making a fair good amount of cards, got a lots of birthdays in May and a few belated April ones too. So here are 2 very similar ones, I got inspired with the hot sunny weather.

These are very minimal, and I wasn't sure what else to add, so feedback would be greatly received. These are   for 2 lovely ladies, one who comes to my card classes and is also a friend and the other is for my cousin who lives in Malta, whose birthday is at the end of this month.

I hope you like them, I used the Big Shot Polka Dot Embossing folder, I love this! and the scallop circle punch for the ice cream. Colours used were: Razzleberry, Certainly Celery and Pink Pirouette.

Hope to have another up tomorrow!
