More Amore Scrapbook Pages

Hello everyone,

Tuesday's scrapbook class started a little nippy until I found the heating switch, then it warmed up as we welcome a few new members to our group. A lovely hello to Maureen, Kay (aka as Kim ;) and Charm!

Here are the pages we made along a love theme, with the wonder marriage of colours Costal Cabana, Real Red and Strawberry Slush!  Hopefully a few close ups of the pages will allow you to see the detail of them.

We used a lovely embellishment kit which was available in the clearance rack and the Boho Blossom punch to build the corner of flowers below. We also used the textured card stock and sanded it down to give it that vintage look!

Here you can see our lovely banner using the beautiful and free Banner Blast Stamp set alongside the lovely Language of Love.

I hope you've liked this month's pages.I do have a couple of places left on my scrapbook class, so if you would like to join us please do get in touch (07821162950), it is on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. The next will be the 18th of March where we will be making a little scrapbook album.
Until next time, take care,
D x

Scrapbooking...

Hello everyone,

Thank you for popping by, today I'm sharing the scrapbook pages we made at last night's class. There are also some photos of the ladies enjoying the evening, so much so that we lost track of time and realised that we were running over - doesn't time fly when you're having fun, we thought!

Here are the two layouts, one had a Christmas theme and the other was more of a winter theme, with an added technique of the starburst technique (watch the youtube at the end of the post - it's fab!).

The colours used here were Coastal Cabana and Soft Slate. The Starburst technique is created using the wonderful Winter Frost Designer Series Paper.
Do you like the bow?  Well would you believe it's created with an oval punch!! I'll show you how in the next few days.

This Christmas page captures the traditional colours of Christmas - Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive. The Mosaic Madness Punch creates the perfect baubles and the ever so reliable Lovely As a Tree comes out again to created the bottom of the Christmas tree.

Here is the 'lift the flap' for the photo! I need to journal this one still, this was last Christmas!

Photos of the ladies enjoying scrapbooking - if you would like to join us, there are still a few places available, so get in touch by text/phone 07821162950 or email me here . If you cannot physically join us but would like to make these layouts, I have a couple of kits available - get in touch!

See you soon,
D x

Vintage Then and Now Scrapbook pages...

Hello all,

Hope you have had a good weekend and that the sun shined a little where you are, or maybe a lot if you are reading this from sunny Malta!

I am going to share with you 2 scrapbook pages that we made at our last Scrapbook Class last Tuesday. The month before we had decided on a vintage then and now, with photos of when we were young and now...it was tricky but this is what I came up with:

Supplies Used: (All Stampin Up! Unless Otherwise Stated)

1. Card – Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake
 2. Papers – Tea for Two, Newspaper DSP, Print Poetry Paper
 3. Stamps – Everything Eleanor RETIRING SOON!
 4. Tools – Heat Tool, Doily L Die,
 6. Mediums – Pretty in Pink, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede Ink Pad. Crochet Trim, Vintage Brad, Clear Embossing Powder

I do have a one kit for the above two pages. Please get in touch if you would like to purchase it!

There is not long to go until Everything Eleanor (flowers above) and the Print Poetry papers go for good, so please get in touch if you would like to order any!

Also, I am still accepting people on my taster session at the hub next Saturday 29th June between 2-3pm - so get in touch too!

Scrapbook Page Birthdays...

Hi all,

I promised my ladies a his and hers birthday page each. I'm not sure if I delivered, although they all seemed very pleased with their outcome.

I think my focus drifted slightly and I got too involved creating a double page, which I actually love! I used photos of my lovely dad's 65th birthday, which we celebrated in Malta over a traditional Maltese dish - Rabbit!

Here is the double page:

Close up of each page.

This beautiful paper is part of the Patio Party Designer Series Paper. My background is Whisper White, however, I gave the ladies an option to choose their own background from all the colours that were in the Patio Party Set - Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals.

If you would like to join us, our next scrapbook date is 18th June at Chelmver Village Hall, 7.30-9.30pm. I have 3 places left, so get in touch to book your place!

Please drop by soon as I will be having a competition for you!

Thanks for reading,
D xx

Recognise this?

Hi all,

I hope you are all enjoying today's sunshine, we did with a spot of gardening and it was such a lovely day that my Lily got to wear her special dress.

I haven't been paper crafting over the last few days but instead I've taken thread to needle (I made that one up!) and made a little dress for Lily. If you recognise where I got my inspiration from , please comment, I'd love to hear from you!

I'm in the middle of preparing Scrapbook Class for Tuesday, if you would like to join us, our next meeting is on the 18th June. I look forward to seeing you.

I will be sharing with you Part 2 of the Secret Garden Set tomorrow and watch this space as I have some very exciting Stampin' Up! news to share with you early next week.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
