SAL-A-BRATION Blog hop....pop by for ideas!

Hello everyone,

If you're come over from the lovely Anne-Marie, welcome! I'm setting my blog up ready for this blog hop, Friday night, so if you have popped by for the card in the box tutorial, I promise it will be in the next post!

This is the card we made at the last Card Class, we made our own stamped designer paper using the Petal Parade Stamp (FREE SAB) and also the See Ya Later Set (FREE SAB). As you all may have noticed Im loving the new Fancy Tag Punch, and it is just so versatile, not just for tags!

We heat embossed the powder on the stamps on the tag to give it a lovely texture and shine! As you can see from the following photo, we have three colours, Basic Gray, Summer Starfruit and Crisp Cantaloupe but I only use one embossing powder in clear! This technique is done using the wetness of the coloured ink to hold the powder just before heating!

Love is in the air, along with the wind and the rain!

Hi all,
It is pouring outside, so glad to be in the warm. Today I am going to share with you the two cards with made at our latest card class on Tuesday.

We made this gorgeous card in a box, it's folds back up to fit in a C6 envelope which would be great to post.  Here's a close up.

I have a used a new Stamp Set from the Spring Catalogue called Language of Love and the FREE SAB Banner Blast.

Happy day...when skies are grey!

Hello everyone,

What a miserable day...it's been raining non stop and Lily and I had another pyjama day and I managed to get an hours crafting done while she napped this afternoon. Here is what I came up with...

I used a few things from the new Spring catalogue and some from SAB. I must say I love the Petal Parade Stamp Set, I wasn't sure at first but I've used it to create my own Designer Series Paper, I have also used the Free SAB Sweet Sorbet DSP for the 'flower' and the Summer Starfruit Baker's Twine. 

The Sentiment was a mixture of SAB 'See ya later' and Happy Days from the Main catalogue. 

Oh and I love the new Arrows Textured Embossing Folder and the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, it's great for all sorts!
