Afternoon Tea anyone?

Hi all,

Yesterday's Scrapbook theme was 'Afternoon Tea' and we all enjoyed it over a cuppa and a piece of my Ginger and Pear cake.

I will be sharing with you the two layouts we made. The papers are from the Twitterpated collection and the stamp set used was Tea Shoppe, which I absolutely love, its so quintessential English!

Colours used were mainly Island Indigo, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette and Baja Breeze! A wonderful collection, when married up with the Twitterpated papers.

This is a close up of the Tea Cup stamped in Soft Suede. Some of the ladies opted for a T 4 u and T 4 all!

The tea cups again were stamped but this time in Versamark to bring out the colour of the Island Indigo card!

I am offering kits of these scrapbook pages at the price of £6 each including postage. If you would like to order any that you have seen, please do get in touch...scrapbook is a wonderful way of preserving memories, so give it a go!
I do have 2 places left at my next class which is on the 16th April, with a Spring theme.
Email me to book your place:

Until next time...thanks for dropping by,
D xx

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello everyone, especially all the mums out there in particular new mums, like me!

I have been spoilt this morning so far with breakfast in bed and a lovely frame! I am going to be sharing with you another Mother's Day card I made Friday for my mum-in-law, as I sold all my other ones over the week.

I love the colour combo and I will probably be doing a similar version of this at my Stampin' Up! Party this coming Thursday. Colours used were the new in colour of Midnight Muse and Bashful Blue. I used a wonderful technique called two-step stampin (watch this space as I am in the middle of planning a new technique class). The Stamp Set Stippled Blossoms makes this technique so easy to master...have a look at the result.

Here's a close up of the beautiful flowers...Can you imagine this card with pinks - Rose Red and Pink Pirouette!?

Here's a pic of my beautiful frame, I have found the prefect picture I think, Lily was just a few days old there!

Anyway, have a wonderful day, I'm hoping the sun will pop out to say hi soon,
until next time,
D xxx

Flutterbyes...

Hi all,

I'm back with another project and as promised (hopefully) a better photo of the shimmer smooch spray!

These lovely butterflies were made for the craft fair last Saturday, however, I do have some left which I will be donating to the Butterfly Day at Hobbycraft on the 29th of March ( I do need to check this date, so please pop back), where they will be having all sorts of activities raising money for 'Together for Short Lives'.

I will also be inviting boys and girls to make one of these for a small donation, so please come and have a go!

I must add that I cased these from a lovely demonstrator across the mile, Chris Kolly at Rubber Room Ramblings! Thank you.

As promised, here is a close up of the shimmer smooch we used at our class on Tuesday. If you would like to order the shimmer smooch to add a bit of dazzle to any project (doesn't have to be Christmas!), just drop me a line head-over-heels-by-dlm@hotmail.com

Hope you can see the effect. I will be preparing for my next party for the lovely Julia, next week. So I am going to have a play with a new stamp set and I will be back to show you what I have come up with!
Until next time, thanks for popping by,
D xx

Tea anyone?

Hello everyone, I must say Lily is keeping me busy and with a craft stall at Hobbycraft on Saturday and Card Class last night...it has been a busy week!

At the craft fair I was selling some Mother's Day cards...I was calling them 'Gift in a Card' as they had a pack of seeds inside.

I used Everything Eleanor Stamp Set with the colours of Red Rose, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.
What do you think?

One of my latest favourite Stamp Set is this Tea Shoppe Stamp Set. I love the colours and the NEW Smooch spray to give a project that added shimmer! (The picture is not very good, I'm using Windows 8 which I'm struggling with, it's taken me over an hour to post this page, mainly as I couldn't find a way to rotate the photos, also ignore the date!).

I will take a better photo tomorrow, so that you can see the shimmer better. If you would like to join us in our card class, I am looking at having another in an alternative venue and possibly a morning too, so if you would like it to be in near you (within reason that is!) please email and let me know your interest!

Until next time (as I'm fed up with Windows 8!)
take care,
D xx
